What do you get when you put 10 Rochester breweries in one room with great local beers? The 585 Brewers Collaborative. Every month, these brewers get together at a different brewery to share their experiences and collaborate on recipes. Their goal is to brew great beers together and bring Rochester beer the attention it truly deserves.
The first release in the 585 Brewers Collaborative is a delicious India Pale Lager (IPL). The IPL will be released draft-only at the Flour City Brewers Fest, August 19th at the Public Market. Afterwards, it will be made available at each brewery and at select local bars.
This IPL is brewed with pale malt and a whole lot of hops – both exotic and classic – including fresh whole cone Cascades from Bluebell Hopyard in Farmington, NY, as well as Hull Mellon, Mandarina Bavaria, Hallertau Blanc, Crystal and Nugget. The 585 Brewers Collaborative IPL is crisp, clean, and refreshing with complex hop flavors.
